Tarotscopes: September 2023

This month, there’s a real mix of happenings and energy and it is clear that not everyone is in the same place this month. However one vibe that aligns everyone is a sense of ‘this is what you’ve been waiting for’ coming through for September. This is also a powerful time for Divine Callings. What are you feeling called towards? And are you ready to answer the call?

Aries: Four of Swords

Ohhh Aries, this month calls for rest… Plenty of rest. And surely that is not a surprise for you? You have been through many changes, upheavals and growth in recent months and you need some time to let things settle. You’re still getting used to this new way of being, this new way of moving, this new way of meeting life. You’re being called into some downtime, some quiet time, some rest. You might find this tricky for a few reasons... Firstly, let’s face it, you’ve still got a lot going on. Secondly, your loved ones might be galloping off on adventures that you cannot join them in right now. You will rejoin them soon enough but you need to stabilise, recalibrate and recharge your batteries. This is not a punishment but a strategic move. If you add too much more onto your plate, you’ll experience burnout and you want to embrace the fullness that life has to offer you. Give yourself a break… You’ll feel better for it. You are yet to realise how recent changes have changed you. You need a bit of time to just process this. It’s time to gain some inner peace, soothe your body, realign with your heart and hear your inner voice again. Getting some rest is the change you need, it is what you've been waiting for. From here, from within this place, you'll be able to springboard into the bigger changes you desire.

Taurus: Four of Cups

September is bringing you an offer or an opportunity of change that you’ve been waiting for. However, you’re holding back… If anyone would have told you that this was coming, you’d thought you’d grab at it with both hands. So why the uncertainty? You’ve changed in recent months, Taurus. And maybe, what you want has also changed? You’re allowed to want this. You’re also allowed to cast it aside. Just make sure that whatever you choose now, honours yourself. Don’t abandon yourself or your dreams because you’re afraid of change - or of how other people might react. But also remember, it’s OK to abandon a dream if it no longer reflects who you are or what you want. Sometimes, you’ve got to let go of one idea of the future to make room for a new beginning. Unsurprisingly, this big offer is going to stir up questioning about yourself, your life and your future. Does this offer belong to a version of you that no longer exists? Or is this an opportunity lined up with who you’ve become? One thing is for sure - the choice is yours and yours alone. Whatever you decide, either way, you will set a new direction for your future.

Gemini: Ace of Wands

Gemini, you’re grabbing the bull by the horns this month. This morning, before I sat down to write the Gemini scope, I was speaking to my favourite Gemini and I said that she reminds me of the Serenity Prayer: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. And weirdly enough, I had this prayer come through for all Geminis in September. Yes, there are some things that feel out of your control this month - but there is much you can change and plenty of action you can take. You’ll need to be discerning where your energy goes because you focus is required. The feeling is that you’re done stewing on things or have too much on your mind. You’re moving on. There is a strong, motivated, moving energy around you now and with the right perspective, you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish. Things have the potential to jump forward five, ten or twenty leaps! You could make surprising traction towards your goals this month - faster than you thought you would. This month, there’s less thinking, less dallying, more feeling and definitely more doing!

Cancer: The Empress

This month is about sharing the harvest, Cancer. You will be receiving, in this I have no doubt. September is abundant for you! And you are called to give. Over the years, you have received from many sources - including the Divine source. You have been blessed with patience, forgiveness, understanding, compassion and love. Think about how much you’ve received in this lifetime. Think about it often. Allow it to fill you and overflow from you, a thousand times over. You are full, Cancer. You are the fullest of full. Full of love, full of life. When you connect in with this concept - how do you feel? How does it change your perspectives? How does it improve your connection? This month asks you to connect in with how full you are and to shower it with love upon others. There are those who need what you’ve gained. And the more you give, the more that will flow towards you. You shall not be depleted. Yes, this month is brimming with beautiful abundance for you - but it is also coming to you because the Divine knows you are the right person to share it out. This is your calling, Cancer.

Leo: King of Cups

This month you’re in alignment with your mind, body and heart, Leo. Simmer here for a while, this is a good feeling place for you and there’s no urgency to hurry on. You’re feeling a deep sense of stability and from here, you’re seeing things differently. You’re able to see past events from fresh perspectives and gain valuable wisdom. You can connect with people from a deeper place within yourself. You’re seeing your goals, desires and dreams differently and you’re realising which pieces need moving around. Significantly, you’re able to see the way forward - at least, the next important steps. Are you going in a surprising new direction? Everything is so damn clear to you now! Remember, there’s no rush to make any big moves yet. Soak it all up, take it all in and enjoy this feeling. You feel strong, you feel powerful, you feel knowing. Use this month to heal the past, to make plans for the future, to network and develop relationships with people and to lay the groundwork. Big developments are to come. What you can see, the vision that is revealing itself to you, that is the land upon which you will build the castle of your dreams… Right now, you’re getting to know the land.

Virgo: The Devil

Happy Birthday to our September Virgos! This month, you’re feeling a call for aliveness in you! You’ve got the urge to follow your gut, your instincts, your impulses and you’re feeling bold enough to take action. You want to mix things up a bit, shake up the routine or ‘the way’ you’ve been doing things. This feels like breaking out of the mould you’ve been set in. You’ve felt a little trapped by the ‘shoulds’ in your life and you need to cast them off. September is all about what you want, and maybe those wants are also your deep needs. You’re craving more spontaneity, more fun, more creativity, more freedom, more connection, more aliveness, more you. You’ve felt the call for change for some time and should you honour the call with seemingly small actions, they will return to you your passion for your life and will inspire bigger, powerful changes. Pay attention - it could be easy to deflect into acts of rebellion or escapism - such as day drinking, reckless spending or sleeping with strangers. Listen to this inner call for change, listen to this call for connection, listen to this call for aliveness and allow yourself some wildness this month.

Libra: Three of Wands

Happy Birthday to our September Librans! This month, you’ll be making plans, Libra. Big plans, potentially life changing plans. You’ll be infused with inspiration, drive and knowing. You are seeing and thinking clearly. Your intuition is hot, you are in alignment, you know what you want and you’re willing to make it happen. This is Libra in full powerhouse mode and it’s amazing! Just remember, this is a planning stage. You may feel that if it doesn’t happen immediately - then it might not happen at all. More likely, the longer it takes, the more likely you are to start doubting yourself. It won’t be the Universe or Spirit that you’re questioning… It’s yourself. But know, that this planning stage for you.This time will put everything into place so that you can trust in this plan, Libra. This time is for you to polish the details and adjust the elements so that you feel safe and secure. This will come together so that you may feel a deepened sense of confidence in yourself, your knowing and your big move. The planning stage IS the creation stage. It all starts with an idea, then there’s the sourcing of information, the connecting with others, the gathering of resources. These are the most important stages. This is the becoming. Scorpio: Nine of Wands

It’s time to reap what you’ve sown, Scorpio… and there’s a mix of wins and losses. This month, you are seeing impressive results of your recent efforts and investments. You’ve worked hard for this and you’re scooping the rewards. This has been a long time coming and is absolutely worth celebrating! Whilst you’ve been fruitful in these areas of your life, other areas might appear somewhat arid and dry. This is because they didn’t have the same environmental factors or personal investment this season. The contrast might be quite bold and bring mixed emotions. But don’t bum out about it, this brings clarity on which areas of your life are calling for your attention now. It also highlights how much you truly value the different areas of your life and yourself. Sagittarius: King of Wands

The King of Wands encompasses all that Sagittarius is - someone who has vision, compassion, strength, knowledge, confidence, life experience and connection. This month, you feel like yourself again. Whilst you have travelled through a tough cycle in recent months or years, this is a new cycle for you and it’s returning those brilliant Sag traits that we know and love - aliveness, optimism, enthusiasm, play, excitement, action, curiosity and joyfulness. This is a fun time for you! As things are going well, you may feel that you’re ‘waiting for the catch’ or anticipating a disaster. That’s OK, it might take some time to ease into these good vibes. Capricorn: The Hierophant

September is calling you into your spirituality, Capricorn… Call to your spirituality? Or is this your spiritual calling? This month encourages you to connect in with those rituals and routines that support you in feeling connected with yourself and the spirit realms. Lighting candles, cleansing with some smudge, making time for prayer, free writing in your journals, mediating and dancing. The Universe, the Divine, your Spirit Team want to speak with you. TDon’t be surprised if they start creating space in your life so that they can reach you - delays, cancellations and unexpected pockets of solitude. They are calling for you. They have meaningful and powerful directions for you. You might have been asking for help, for solutions to problems or answers to questions. This month, that guidance is coming and this is what you’ve been waiting for. But the way is not coming from outside of you, it’s coming from within. The signs will be in abundance this month, but we could send you a big, neon flashing sign saying ‘do this, go there’ and you’d still question it. Let’s face it, it’s when it comes from within that’s when you believe it, have confidence in it and accept it as truth. It is time to move on but the fast track onwards, is going inwards.

Aquarius: The Tower

I’ve got the train conductor blowing in my ear, Aquarius and he is bellowing, “All change! All change!” This month is bringing big change for you but this isn’t entirely surprising. You may have known this was coming for some time. I have the image of someone who knows which train they have to board, they know which direction they must head in… But they’ve been trying to delay it until they felt ready. Now, it is time. Whilst some elements are out of your control, there is action you can take, to feel less of a victim and more of a participant. When the Universe moves you, move with it. You cannot find the current, so go in the direction it is taking you. Whilst upheaval can be unsettling, you are capable of navigating these changes. I feel that what’s happening for you now is bringing you home. And one thing is for sure, whilst you are on board this train, you are absolutely not alone. There are others on this journey with you. This togetherness will remind you of what really matters and maybe, it’s this togetherness that is bringing you home.

Pisces: King of Cups

September encourages you to take ownership of your emotions because they are your knowing. This is a profound stage of emotional maturing for you. By embracing what you know to be true for yourself, for your direction, for your calling - you are strong, you are powerful, you are mighty. It is only when you deny your emotions and relegate them to irrational or inconvenient, that you feel unsure and uncertain. It is only when you tussle with, or debate against your own feelings, that you feel disconnected with yourself. This month brings powerful energy to support you in aligning your mind with your heart. Big movements forward are possible with this level of alignment. You are readying for brilliant change, Pisces. Your heart is calling you on, your purpose is calling you on, your life is calling you on. Whilst you may have felt that you couldn’t follow that calling because of your big emotions - this couldn’t be further from the truth. You can follow this calling and it’s because of your big emotions. They are not a hindrance, they’re an asset and this month is really going to show you what a gift they are!
