Anemone: What’s arriving on the wind?

The name Anemone means ‘windflower’ because she arrives on the wind. Her seeds fly on the breeze and arrive in new lands. I love this because me and my friend have a thing about ‘what’s arriving on the wind, what’s being blown in?’. When these beautiful flowers comes into our lives is: What’s being blown into my life?

In early Spring, Anemones are one of the first flowers to bloom. There’s a wide range of symbolism associated with Anemone but the most significant meaning is ‘anticipation’. This is because the anemone flowers close up at night and open back up in the morning. Anemone waits, she is in a state of anticipation, waiting for the light. And we are in anticipation, waiting for her to open up for us.

Are you in a state of anticipation at this time? What are you waiting for?

Are you waiting for the very thing that is or will be blowing into your life?

Anemone Symbolism:

  • What’s arriving, from destiny, being blown in on the wind, into our lives?

  • What are we waiting for?

  • Who or what is waiting for us?

  • Waiting for the right thing or the right moment

  • Relaxation and enjoying the moment

  • Being present in order to embrace opportunities at the right time

  • New seasons in our lives
